Christine Keeler - Mandy and Christine were involved in the Profumo scandal, this was during the solidifying time of the cold war, involving Government minister John Profumo and a high ranking Russian Officer.

Other less notable but nevertheless needing to be mentioned is Kendo Nagasaki.

Kendo Nagasaki - the gimick

Much is said about the gimickry on the internet, most of which is riddled with inaccuracy and shrouded in phoney mystery.

For instance the birth date and place of this gimick was 1941 and according to sources who worked at Fodens in Sandbach at the same time as Kendo say that that was where he originates.

The gimick portrayed by Kendo is just as phoney as the rest of him, always hiding behind the mask and getting others to do his dirty work.

His claims {Kendo} that he trained under Kenshiro Abbe, this is doubtful, Abbe had a serious accident in the early 60's and went back to Japan, also there is not one single entry in any of the judo lists that include Kendo or his real name.

His famous unmasking actually ocurred in Scotland by a 6ft 4in Scot, a clean fighting gentleman of the ring

The Savile Connection

Can someone else confirm when and how often Jimmy Savile was a visitor at Moorcourt, some people say he had been there when it was a prison, others say he was there much later and was accompanied by wrestlers such as Pat Roach. Either way it looks like he was at Moorcourt at some point in the 90's.
